Not literally! You will be “bathed” in the unique sounds and vibrations created by the instruments used during the session.
A guided meditation practitioner uses their voice to facilitate awareness of the present moment. Sound bath practitioners use the sound itself to guide the meditation. Participants often experience a deep state of relaxation in a single sound bath session, making it a beneficial experience for both beginners and experienced meditators.
No. I invite you to wear whatever type of non-restrictive clothing you are most comfortable in, such as leggings, sweat pants, and a loose top or shirt.
Closing your eyes (wearing an eye mask may help) allows you to tune into the sounds that begin to surround you. But please do what works best for your comfort level.
For in-person sessions, you will need a yoga mat, a journal, and a pillow, blanket, or anything else that will help you feel relaxed. If the session is virtual, using headphones will enhance the experience.

The optimal length for a sound bath is between 60 and 90 minutes. This allows participants to fully experience the session’s healing benefits.

Following your sound bath session, it’s best to rest, relax, and avoid stressful situations. You may want to go for a walk, spend time with your journal, or take a hot bath. Be sure to drink plenty of water to ensure that the energy and toxins released from your cells during the session are flushed out.
The frequency will depend on your personal goals and preferences, which you can discuss with your practitioner. Many of my clients book weekly sessions, while others attend as needed.
