7-31-26 Relax and Settle the Mind – A Sound Bath Meditation

Join me on Friday, July 31, from 7:00–9:00 PM for an evening of Sound Bath Meditation in the beautiful sanctuary space at New York Insight Meditation Center in Manhattan.

When the mind is busy or the body feels disconnected, sound can offer a gentle way in. The sustained tones and vibrations of crystal singing bowls create a steady field of sensation that makes it easier to rest attention in the body and allow the mind to settle naturally.

This extended two-hour experience will begin with guided intention setting and reflective journaling (journals will be provided), creating space to pause, listen inward, and connect with what is most present for you. The session will then move into breath awareness, a body scan, and a short guided meditation, followed by an extended immersive sound bath.

Held in New York Insight’s warm and welcoming meditation space, the evening offers an opportunity to step away from the pace of the city and settle into a deeper sense of presence, reflection, and inner stillness.

It’s an experience you can feel as much as hear—grounding, restorative, and deeply nourishing.

No prior experience is needed. Come exactly as you are
